After the appreciated concert series of recent years, we are now back with "Cinema Classics", a concert where we highlight modern classical music composed by some of the greatest masters of film music. In this concert we highlight Studio Ghibli's legendary composer: Joe Hisaishi.

Come and enjoy well-known themes from films such as Totoro, Spirited away, Nausicaä of the valley of the wind, Porco Rosso, Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Express Delivery and Howl's moving castle. The music is performed by a string orchestra consisting of professional musicians, as well as piano, choir and percussion, under the direction of Kim Malmquist.
