Kim Malmquist
Composer
Kim Malmquist has studied composition at the Gotland School of Music Composition with Sven David Sandström and Henrik Strindberg as teachers. In addition, he has studied instrumentation for Arne Mellnäs.
His compositions include works for solo instrument, for chamber music ensemble and for symphony orchestra. In addition he has composed film music, which has been broadcast by Swedish Television, as well as stage music. Some works have been broadcast by Swedish Radio.
Kim Malmquist has made CD recordings where he plays own compositions for piano solo. The CD albums are named "Luminessence", "Fragile Water" and "The Magic Theater".
